Tansi. My name is Mark Cardinal and I am from Saddle Lake Cree Nation. I have two children and have been the Family liaison in Vilna School since September 2018. I enjoy playing handgames and participating in cultural activities. I take great pride in being from Saddle Lake and value the rich cultural teachings I grew up with. I am happily passing these teachings to the younger generation because I believe our youth can make a huge impact in this world with the right direction and support which I do believe is very strong at Vilna School. I have high hopes for our children and I will continue to support our youth in school and in future endeavors.
