Hi Everyone. It has been my pleasure to serve as Assistant Principal and Principal at Vilna School since September 2012. I am the fourth of five children and eldest daughter of Dan and Lucille Padlesky of St. Paul, the mother of a son Brandon (he has a beautiful wife Paige) and daughter Dana (and her partner Tony), grandmother to 6 and wife to my hippy husband Peter. I spent twenty years living on the Fishing Lake Metis Settlement and after becoming a teacher in 2004 lived and taught in Little Buffalo, Peavine, Cochrane and Edmonton before returning to the St. Paul area. I truly enjoy mountain trekking, growing sunflowers and wild flowers, beading and moccasin making, reading fantasy and traveling to exotic places. My religion is kindness, my mantra is gratitude and I hope every day I leave the world a better place.
