Steven Yakimec

I am a recent graduate from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Education degree as a Mathematics major and Physical Education minor. I have a passion for numbers and athletics, which is why I chose to study Mathematics and Physical Education at the U of A. I chose to pursue a career in education because I enjoy working with and helping youth. In the winter, I can usually be found playing shinny hockey or watching my favorite team the Edmonton Oilers. I am an avid golfer and also enjoy playing volleyball, badminton and baseball. I am thrilled to join the staff and begin my first year of teaching at Vilna School!
